It appears to be the "new" Google Groups interface. I just switched
back to the "old" one, and well... here I am. The new one gets as far
as "loading" and stays there forever. That's fine, this works.

I've had the same trouble. The one advantage the "new" groups has
(when it works) is that it's possibleto get into the wayback machine
and bump old threads, like I tried to do with the "krispy kremes"
thread. I hope they get it fixed

After submitting a bug report to Google (possibly irrelevant), I'm now posting through the "new" groups, or at least the preview. I haven't officially "switched" back to the "new" groups. But I "am" finding it hard to "stop" using so many "quotation marks" and I'm not "sure" why.
